We are a group of local Hammersmith and Fulham residents and professionals from a myriad of sectors that have come together to form a committee through the inspiration and vision of local resident and Community Leader, Debbie.
Debbie identified the need to create a local Community Cafe from speaking with local residents with lived experiences of isolation and loneliness, self-declared diagnosis with mental health and those with social issues and challenges. The aim of the community cafe is to be a welcoming space where local residents could relax, enjoy socialising, building connections that could offer general support in local matters. This concept and more aligned with the thoughts and experiences of all group members.
The Community Cafe is currently being developed and shaped by using the principles of co-design and coproduction.
